My weekend adventures

Oh my gosh you wouldn't believe the fun weekend I had! On Friday afternoon my mom and I drove up north. We got to spend the weekend with Anty Randi, her boyfriend Reed and his daughter Karlee. Reed has a cabin and we had so much fun!

First of all, let me tell you this: There was a playground right across the road! I spent many hours there making lots of new friends. My mom even let me go all by myself!

Guess what else? There was a HUGE game room attached to the lodge and I got to play game after game after game! Mom, Randi and Reed all kept me supplied with quarters and I spent lots of time there! They had ping pong, air hockey, gum ball machines, video games and even a jukebox. My new friends and I had so much fun in there!

We had a huge bonfire on Friday night at the neighbors. I like to watch the fire. It must have made me sleepy though because I suddenly realized I was passing out in my chair. I didn't even finish my treat and I told them all I better go to bed. They thought that was pretty funny and then mom and Anty Randi tucked me in. I sure slept well after all that running around!

On Saturday, I got to do something I have never done before! I went tubing! I was a little nervous, so Reed promised to go slow. Tubing is fun! The first time I went with Karlee and her friend Jaycee. They were good teachers and they showed me where to hang on. The second time, my mom got on with me and she held on to me real tight so we went fast! I was laughing and screaming and I kept giving Reed the secret thumbs up symbol which means go faster. Before I knew it we were flying over the water and over the waves! We must have gone a little too fast though because me and mom both fell off! Oh well - that's all part of tubing! I had a fun time on that boat! Reed even let me drive home!

On Sunday, Anty Randi and mom took me to the beach and they had the coolest slide there! It was a tube slide in the water! It was on a platform in the lake so when you came out the bottom you fell in the water. That was so awesome! It was a little chilly though so when I came out of the water I snuggled up with my Anty Randi and she warmed me up. I sure do love her.

As you can imagine, I was very tired after such an exciting weekend so I slept in the car all the way home. My mom was tired too, but she got us home safe and sound.

The best part is that Reed and Randi told us we could come back any time we want! I can't wait to go up there again! Thank you Randi, Reed and Karlee! My mom and I had such a great time and we hope to go back there again soon! We really appreciate you sharing your cabin with us!
