A big Happy Anniversary wish to my Grandma and Grandpa! I hope your next 40 years are just as happy as the last.
I had a busy day yesterday! I helped my Mom and Grandma water a bunch of trees. Well, actually, they watered trees and I played in the big water tank by the well. The tank is about 4 or 5 feet long and when I got in, the water was up to my waist. It was a perfect way to cool off. There were two frogs in there swimming around so I played with them! Did you know frogs are really great swimmers?
The best news is that we had a big bonfire last night! Grandpa pulled the pickup over and we listened to music. Then he roasted me a hot dog on the fire. Oh, and when I started to get sleepy, he went in the house and brought me out a cot, sleeping bag and pillow so I could snuggle up and watch the fire. It was awesome! I had so much fun playing around last night and eating yummy crab apples. No one else likes them because they are so sour. I think they are great!

Hey!! You know what is SO funny... Lance's parents anniversary is also August 5th, and it was their 40th!!

Hi Parker - You just left today and I miss you already. It was so great to have you and your Mom here to help us celebrate. We had a lot of fun didn't we? Just think, when I come to your party on the 25th you will already be 6 years old!! WOW!!
