Happy Labor Day!

I hope you all had an exciting weekend and that you got to do something very special. I got to go to the lake! Reed and Randi invited my mom and I to the cabin and of course we had a great time. I have been saving my money for a month and I had lots of quarters to spend in the game room. It was awesome! I played on the playground too and made some friends. There was even a beach party! I got to swim and then play with a bunch of kids! There was even a band and I danced like crazy with Anty Randi. She was impressed by my dance moves. I had so much fun!

But unfortunately, I had a bit of an accident-prone few days....

On Thursday I got my toe caught under the front door of my school. Ouch!
On Friday I started coughing and have since developed quite a cold. (I hope I am better by my first day of school on Wednesday!)
On Saturday I got run over by a kid on a bike and later stepped on a bunch of cockle-burrs. (Spelling?)

Thankfully Sunday and today have been better!

UPDATE!!
A few weeks ago, my mom saw a contest for kids on WCCO news and she thought it would be neat for me to enter. She had me draw a picture of the "weather" and she sent it in to the television station. Well guess what? My picture got drawn and I now have the honor of holding the title "Weather Kid of the Week!" I won a $10 Perkins Gift Certificate and a chance to win the monthly prize which is a tour of the TV station and an opportunity to help the meteorologist with the forecast!
