Clown Day

Yep, yesterday was clown day at school! A clown came to our room to paint our faces and we got to have a parade through the school! We were supposed to wear "goofy" clothes like plaids with stripes, or items inside out or backwards. My Mom and I came up with quite the outfit! I wore flannel pajama pants that had mulit-colored smiley faces who were were wearing Santa hats. For my shirt I wore a long sleeved rugby shirt that was green and yellow and gray. It was so funny. We didn't tell my Dad is was clown day, so when he picked me up at daycare, he was VERY surprised at what I was wearing. It was so funny!

My Mom starts her first day of clinicals today. She is pretty nervous. She took a Basic Nursing class and now to complete the class she gets to work at a nursing home for 5 days. She'll basically be doing CNA type tasks. Today she doesn't have to go until 8 AM, but next week she has to be there at 6:30 AM! She is pretty excited because next Thursday is the last day of her clinicals and it's also the day she leaves for her annual fishing trip with the girls! She can't wait. And I can't wait either because I get to stay with Grammom and Papa W!! I get to go there after school on Friday! Only 7 more days!
