Today is going to be a sad day at daycare. It's Ms. Lauren's last day.
My teacher Ms. Lauren has graduated from college (CONGRATS!) and is moving back home to find a job in her field of study. She has been my teacher now for two whole years and she is so much fun.
She "gets me." You know what I mean?
I made her a card this morning and my Mom is going to bring her a surprise when she picks me up tonight. I will miss Ms. Lauren so much. She is a great teacher and more importantly, a good friend to me. My Mom says she will never be able to thank her enough for all the good care and kindness she has shown me.
We'll miss you Ms. Lauren!

Hi Parker. This is a sad day for you. It is hard to say good-bye to people who have meant so much to us. I am sure she is going to miss you too. Thanks for the colored picture and the note. We hung it on the fridge.
