Update: The Twins

I have some good news relating to Jenny and Eric's twins, Trent and Tori. They are now 2 weeks and 1 day old and are doing well.

Tori did get to go home last week and she has been eating a lot. She has gained weight and is now up to 5 lbs 10 oz! Jenny said that she is a very good little girl and basically just sleeps and eats. The only problem is that she hasn't been going number 2 (if you know what I mean.) She hasn't gone for 48 hours, so if she doesn't go sometime today, they will probably have to take her to the doctor tonight. But all in all, she's doing great.

Trent is doing well too! He is no longer hooked up to any IV's or oxygen! He, too, has gained weight and is now up to a whopping 6 lbs 2 oz! He is trying to figure out how to eat. As soon as he learns how to suck, swallow and breathe all at the same time he will be able to go home. Right now, he tends to eat about half a bottle and if he can't get the rest down, they tube feed him the remaining amount. So, hopefully it wont' be long and he will get the hang of it and be able to head home.

I will keep you posted on their progress and as soon as my Mom goes to visit she will post pictures. As always, please say an extra prayer for all of them tonight.
