What a week!

***STILL posting from the computer lab at Mom's school***

Well, we still don't have our computer back and we are missing it - BIG TIME. Hopefully it will be ready soon. The nice people at Circuit City are fighting with the warranty place to give my Mom a free A/C adapter cuz' hers was bad. They are trying to tell her it's not covered by the $400/4 year warranty she purchased with the computer. But don't get her started on that or she will go bonkers. So, let's hope for the best, shall we?

First off, I would like to wish a BIG "Happy Anniversary" to Grandma and Grandpa P. Can you believe they have been married for 41 years? It looks to me like they are still just as in love today as they were back then. I love you guys!

Where do I start? I have been busy! This week my Mom signed me up for Art Camp every day for two hours. I think it will be super fun. It's called "Monstrously Messy" and I am excited! I love to do art projects! It's in the same building where Mom and I go to see all the plays and musicals. F-U-N!

Oh, and I found out yesterday I have Strep Throat. But don't worry I am back to my normal self today. I feel just fine now, but on Sunday my temp was 101.9. And my throat hurt super bad. So Mom made an appointment and the doc confirmed what she suspected. Red throat + white spots = STREP. I don't know if this pink medicine I have to take "wires me up" or what but last night I couldn't sleep! I went to bed at 8:45 P.M. and when my Mom went to bed at 10:30 P.M. I was still awake. This morning I told her it was midnight before I went to sleep last night! She couldn't believe it - especially since I got up at 6:45 A.M. And I was even happy!

Let's see... 2 weekends ago I spent the weekend with Grammom and Papa W! It was awesome. They took me to the zoo and I got to see all kinds of animals! I talked about it in the car all the way up north. I had so much fun hanging out with them. They are two very special people.

Last Monday, Mom and I went to spend the week with Grandpa and Grandma P. That was fun too! We spent a lot of time at Great-Grandma's which I love and visited with Uncle Rick and Anty Barb who are visiting from Montana. Cousin Lindsey was there too with her dog Daphne and even Anty Randi and Uncle Reed came to visit one day! They all took me to the fair! I sat through the parade and got all kinds of candy. For a small town, it sure is a long parade! Someone told my Mom there were 176 floats! After that, we spent the next two days on rides! I am tall enough now that I got to go on ALL the big rides. I even got Grandma, Anty Randi and Uncle Reed to ride with me! It was very very fun! I got a little dizzy at the end but I am still counting down the days until next year.

While I was riding rides on Thursday, Mom went to the Demolition Derby with her friends Amy and Cory. And guess what? Cousin Ryan took first place AGAIN with his orange pick-up! It is painted like the general lee and he has the horn and everything! One of these days I am going to have to check out this whole "demo" thing - it sounds fun! (But not quite as much fun as rides!)

After the demo, Mom was able to hook up with about 8 of her high school friends so she was pretty excited about that! I guess some of them don't get to see each other too often. It was a mini-reunion.

After that long week, I finally got to see my Dad on Saturday and I was super excited about that! I was very happy since I hadn't seen him since Monday. So, I stayed with Dad while Mom went to Cousin Nick's wedding. She must have had fun that night cuz' on Sunday when I was sick she was just as excited as I was to lay on the couch and watch movies. Weddings must be pretty tiring. She showed me all the pictures she took on her camera. Looks like she had fun. You know, I always knew my Mom was a little weird, but at least now I know where she gets it from! Ha ha ha!

Well, I guess that's about it for now. If I am forgetting anything or anyone, I'm sorry. It's hard for me to keep all this stuff straight!! Oh, a few more things... Mom gets her wisdom teeth pulled out a week from today so I am going to stay with Dad for a few extra days. I decided to give her some time to rest. And she starts school 3 weeks from today!

I am getting excited for my birthday! In 12 days I will be 7 years old!
