A Christmas Celebration!

Hi Everyone! It's Rachel. Parker is at his Dad's for the weekend so I thought I would take over his blog and share a few pictures that were taken last night. The semester is over! I finished up my finals yesterday and they went well. I have gotten to be so close with my classmates already and I can't wait to continue this journey with them next year. In the meantime though, we decided to celebrate and have a Holiday Party. We all brought something to eat and a gift to exchange. We chatted and laughed, played games and laughed some more. Here is a picture of us doing a "cheers" of celebration. Here are my classmates! And I am happy to be able to call them my friends. Back row: Laura and Amy C. Front row: Lotti, Steffanie, Amy B, Carly, Gina and Heather. (Not able to attend the party were Brandon and Suad.)

Amy C. was kind enough to offer up her home for the party. She has gotten to be such a good friend of mine. We both started at SCTC in Jan. 2006 and since then we have had MANY classes together. She is an amazing woman and I am grateful to have her in my life.

Here is Lotti. I am so thankful to have a person with such a kind heart in my class.

Here is Carly and Heather posing with some of the gifts in the gift exchange. Things got a little out of control as we rolled dice and stole presents. The timer was set for 5 minutes and there was a lot of screaming. Ha ha. Heather got the last set of doubles with 17 seconds on the timer and stole the wine for the last time.

Well I think that's all for now. I just wanted to share a little of my life with you. :) I hope you are all doing well and that you are excited for Christmas. Don't forget to take a moment to stop and count your blessings during this busy time.

What a fun party!

What is up with those tiny little glasses in the first picture? Looks like something they would use here in Utah...or preschool.

Love seeing a picture of you!

Lol! Those glasses don't look tiny to me... They were just regular champagne glasses. :)

Those glasses do look little, like the kind you keep in the bathroom to rinse after brushing. You should have used beer mugs!

Looks like you all have a great time!

They looked like the little plastic juice glasses.....

Hmmm... you guys, maybe they just look small because you are both used to getting your daily intake via an enormous glass.

Do I sense a problem here?
