Happy Mother's Day!

I started the day by waking my Mom up with 20 kisses. I even slept in a little for her. I didn't get up until 6:34 AM. That is sleeping in for me. We snuggled a little bit because that is her favorite thing and we talked about our fun day that we have planned.

I am taking Mom out to brunch! (Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!) We have reservations for two at 12:30 PM. My Mom went to this place on Easter with Kari (with the long brown hair) and do you know what she told me? They have a chocolate fountain! So, hopefully they have it out again for Mother's Day.

After brunch, we are going to a play! It's called "Seussical the Musical" and it's all about Dr. Seuss and his many funny books. I can't wait. We have front row seats because Mom bought the tickets way back in August.

Mom opened her presents this morning too. I made her gifts at school and at daycare and Grammom and Papa sent a present for her the last time I was at their house. (I can't believe she was able to wait until today to open it. It's been sitting on the microwave for 3 weeks! She usually can't take the excitement of a surprise.) As you can see by the picture, she got some good stuff. :) She felt pretty darn special this morning.

In closing, I would like to say Happy Mother's Day to all the mother's out there; especially the special ladies in my life. Gammy, Great Grandma, Grammom, Grandma, Anty Randi and Mom. I am a very lucky boy.

You look very handsome in your picture. Your mom was very lucky to have you take her on a date today. Hope you had fun.....can't wait to hear all about it.

Whoa, Parker! You look HOT in your picture!
I think your presents to your mom are awesome, and it sounds like you made it a very nice day for her.
Did they have a chocolate fountain at the restaurant?

Yes, they DID have a chocolate fountain! But there must have been some chocolate-hungry people there before us because it was more of a chocolate "dribble" than a chocolate "fountain." I dipped a marshmallow, a strawberry, a pretzel and a chocolate chip cookie. CAN YOU SAY YUMMY? (Don't worry, I ate a healthy lunch before Mom would let me indulge in all the goo-ey goodness.)
