Nice summer weather at last!

Hi everyone! I have been having a great summer so far! How about you?

Last weekend I got to stay with Grammom and Papa W. for 4 whole nights! We spent 2 nights at their place and 2 nights at the cabin. I had a GREAT time. I went fishing and guess what? I caught 1 bass, 3 northern and 10 sunfish! I am serious! It was so awesome and I had so much fun telling my Mom all about it. She was super jealous. I must be a pretty good fisherman because she said she has never caught that many before! (And she goes ice-fishing every winter... I wonder what her and the girls do up there if they aren't catching fish....)

I got to spend Father's Day with my Dad and Papa. I should have posted this on Sunday, but better late than never so.... Happy Father's Day!! I am so lucky to have such great men in my life to guide me and show me all the important things in life. Dad, Papa, Grandpa, Uncle Jay and Uncle Reed - thanks for all you do for me. I love you all very much.

I started swimming lessons on Monday. That was fun. I am learning a lot and just love to be in the water. I am in Level One of the Red Cross swimming program. I really like my instructor Mike. He is so funny.

Yesterday, Mom came up with a brilliant idea. We found a jar and labeled it "Parker's Reward Jar." Every time I do something without Mom having to TELL me to do it, she drops a cotton ball in the jar. And, if she only has to tell me ONE time to do something, she will put a cotton ball in the jar. (Apparently I get distracted and have a little trouble following directions sometimes. I really don't mean too... but sometimes I just forget. Let's see... what were we talking about now?) Anyway, when the jar is full I get to do something fun! We wrote some ideas down like go to the Days Inn water slide, go to a movie, go to Dairy Queen, go to lunch at Space Aliens... you get the idea. She gave me three cotton balls for free and now I have to earn the rest. Oh, and by the way, she CAN take cotton balls away if she has to tell me something multiple times. I have my work cut out for me! But I know I can do it!

After that, we spent the early afternoon at our pool. She got a sunburn and is now officially "pink." I really worked up an appetite while I was swimming because here is what I ate for lunch: 2 (yes 2!) peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, pudding, cheese and crackers, milk and mashed potatoes. Seriously?? My Mother could not believe it!

Today I have a picnic at daycare so that will be fun. I like to eat outside! My Mom's friend Sarah is visiting this week from Colorado so hopefully I will get to see her today after Mom picks me up from daycare. Then we are off to swimming lessons again. They are Monday - Thursday for 2 weeks.

On Friday, Mom and I are going to see Gammy! (My Dad's Grandma.) We are both very excited. It has been a long time since since Mom has seen her. We will get to see Grammom and Papa too so that is good.

Well, that's about all that is going on here. Let me know what is new with you, OK? Hope you are enjoying the nice weather!

Hey Parker! Maybe if you're REALLY good, your mom will use the Museum Adventure Pass and take you to the MN Zoo!
